How do I make SMF the front page of my website?

Hello all  :) I'm a newbi.
I've installed SMF and moded it up with Tiny Portal and want this to be my front page when people go to my website.  Right now the front of my page is just the generic "under construction" page holder that was there when I bought the domain name.    Do I do something in my control panel?

Any help is welcomed...thanks!

I don't think there is any easy one step solution for this, but I would like to see it if there is as well.

It depends on where you installed your forum (directory-wise) and how your host has its skeleton (base default) install files configured.

PM me with your web address if you want some help with getting this fixed.

If you have Cpanel just do this:

Go into the redirects options area

Leave the first redirect box as it is (im guessing you forum is under /forum or something) and then in the second redirect box put in your forum address.

If you don't have cpanel, just use a meta redirect in your index.html page on your root.

Many ways to make it your front page.

1) Install the forum software in your root directory so the forums index.php file acts as your website index.php file.

2)  In your index page on your website do a meta or a header redirect (PHP for header redirect).

Those are the two main ways to go about it, IMO.
