Errror: Could not find an XML setup file in the package !!

Hi,

I want to have a Forums in my Joomla web-site.

I have installed joomla 1.0.x  and installed SMF using Fanstastico and running my web-site by Sitegrounds ( hxxp:www.ra64.com [nonactive]) and all has gone okey now except 1 thing.

The SMF 1.1RC2

I have downloaded smf_1_1-rc2_install  on my laptop (zip format) and logged in joomla admin > components > upload & install ..

Now I am getting :

Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

Question 1 :

Was it wrong to install joomla and SMF from Fantastice cPanel ? ( I have installed SMF on the SMF subdirectorey ..)

Question 2 :

Where is this "com_joomla_smf_forum_x.y.zip" file ?

Question 3 :

What versons I need to run a decent Forum operation ?


Or am I doing something which is completely wrong ?
