Is there a way I could get SMF to somehow bring to my attention when someone tries to log in from a banned IP? I realize that I can check the log ever so often but I'd like to rig it to alert me somehow immediately. It could be by email, popup, pm, or pretty much anything that would grab mine or another admins attention.

Anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

That would be a mod that would interest me as well.

It's in your forum error logs - if you are using RC2... I dont know about other versions, sorry

On a related note, is there a way to save all IP's that members use. The best I can tell SMF saves IP's that are used in posts and also IP's that are logged during errors but not just IP's that they use when they don't post.

I am trying to keep people from sharing passwords to a private board. If they share then I want to know who is sharing but if someone is using someone elses password and doesn't post then we won't ever know it unless they post or we happen to check their IP at the time.

Does this make sense?

gandalf, I mentioned that in my first post.  ::) :D
