Banning 0.0.0.0 is a ******. There is a logic problem \'somewhere\' in the software. If you check, you can\'t actually enter 0.0.0.0 as a ban trigger - you can, but it doesn\'t register!

You can always do an IF statement.  Go into the header of the page and do an if else statement.  grab the ip address and if it is equal to the ip you wanna ban redirect, else finish loading the page.  When you get that go into the part with the overall bottom and close out your bracket ( } ).  That is an old-school way to do it ;)

I\'m not so sure that\'s a wise thing to do. It\'ll fix it, but ...

Ha ha! No software is perfect  :o  LOL.  Heard of modifications?  Same as hacking, IMO.  Sometimes you just have to hack your software to get it to do exactly what you want.

Unless you mean they might hack through it.  Only way I can see it is to use a proxy, and in that case even a normal ban wouldn't work unless SMF has a system that can some how see past a proxy.
