Problem in subject box

How can i increase the maxlength of the subject..i'm using smf_1-0-7 what. I had changed maxlength of Post.template.php  but no effect..

i'm from nepal and my most user write in Nepali unicode..नेपाली thus the default maxlenght for the subject is small...

नेपालि मा लेख्दा ठाउँ धेरै खान्छ ।।।
