Bad Zip file??

Everytime I try to download the install package (either the 1.0.7 or 1.1) it says it's an invalid archive. What am I doing wrong?

Which archive are you downloading? And what application are you trying to open it with?

The zip file of the install package, either 1.0.7 or 1.1

When I try to unzip it, or even just hover over the file, it says it's a bad or invalid archive. I've tried this SEVERAL times and still get the same result.

several people have reported this. what are you using to unzip the archive?

Hi, I'm also having the same problem. I've tried both 1.0.7 and 1.1 RC2 zip files and to me the download appeared to finish too quickly for their sizes. Then when I tried to open the zip files with WinZip it reports that the zip file is "not a valid archive".

Hope someone can help. I urgently need to set up SMF

sawz, I've just tried opening the zip files with CamUnzip and got this error:

"This is the first disk in a backup set. Please insert the last disk of this set."

Anybody has any idea where else I can download smf from?

Skeletonkiss, just to let you know I've just downloaded the tar.gz file for 1.0.7 and used WinZip to unzip all the files with no problem.

this is weird, i just downloaded, yet again, 1.1RC2 full install.

.zip files seem to be having issues currently, specifically with IE (probably not an IE bug, but more a side-effect I'm thinking). File downloads are being cut off prematurely. Firefox downloads fine for most of the people who have had this problem, and I believe Opera works fine too.
