multiple install with one package on one domain ? possible?

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Hi

Is it possible to install Standalone copies of SMF 1.1 RC2 on one domain with only one set of files installed in a directory , say , ....

my-domain.com/forums

but the Standalone copies are on different directories like

my-domain.com/forum1

my-domain.com/forum2

my-domain.com/forum3

sothat i don't have to install same set of files again and again on the same domain in different directories.However i can manage different Databases for each install. A multiple install functionality like DRUPAL !! i hope you understand it.

my server specifications are as follows :

OS = Linux
Apache version = 1.3.33 (Unix)
PHP version = 4.3.11
MySQL version = 4.0.27-standard

wow ! he is only 14 ! shame on me. i have been using computers since 1993. wasted many years in games and stuff. Had i been learning programming language , i would have learnt some good stuff too.
thanks , i'll check SMS for free. but i needed a functionality of multi-install in SMF as that of Drupal , hope you understand.Let me check the things you mentioned then i'll see if they fullfil my requirements or not.
