Installing Problem (Copyright)

SMF Version: SMF 1.0.7
I have just recently installed my SMF Board, then I upgraded to SMF 1.07 from 1.05 as I had an old download package. I then installed Black22 Theme created by Bloc from there everything looks good except for when I scrolled to the bottum of the screen ...

I received a message -

Sorry, the copyright must be in the template.
Please notify this forum's administrator that this site is using an ILLEGAL copy of SMF!

If someone could post some feedback or a way to fix this, be much appreciated!

Re-upload the template files

It was uploaded through putty (ssh) and then extracted from SSH into the Black22 folder, so I'm not sure how I could be missing any files, however I'll try to reupload the files one by one through FTP and see if that doesnt fix it. let ya know what I find out

Sometimes during upload, files get corrupted

Me and Jerm worked together for along time on this problem but we have yet to solve the situation.

The Theme Files were reinstalled, the default files were reinstalled, the actual complete theme itself was installed 4 or five times. The Copyright is located inside of the HTML. The forum itself was reinstalled twice. We installed SMF 1.05 uploaded theme (got the error) upgraded forums to 1.07 still got the error. I dont receive the error on the DEFAULT template the only templates I receive it on is the custom templates and all of the custom templates. I have email Bloc seeing if he could perhaps help me. Otherwise does anyone have any feedback on the issue?

how about them language files, they up to date?
remember the new ones go into the default themes language folder.

I have no idea on how to check? However do I just need to download the new english version from the website and upload it? If so I can do that now and will do it just hoping that it will resolve my problem, otherwise let me know. Looking forward to some ideas!

I have no idea on how to check? However do I just need to download the new english version from the website and upload it? If so I can do that now and will do it just hoping that it will resolve my problem, otherwise let me know. Looking forward to some ideas!

Are you sure your themes are compatible with your version of SMF? This usually indicates a 1.1RC2 theme is used on 1.0.x.

No see this is the problem, so that you guys can see it I will set the theme back to Black22, and Black22 is compatible with 1.07 cording to Bloc's website. Also talking to Technical Support there as well. But on my default theme I'm not getting the error, just on the themes I upload, and I might add any themes that I upload.

This doesn't make any sense  Can you pm or mail me ftp access as well as an admin account? Not sure I have time before tomorrow evening to take a good look though.

Hey guys the situation is resolved, Bloc and his guys was able to help me out for some reason I needed a different version of the theme whats strange is its the same version as your theme but it works, so you might want to check with them for updating your version of Black22 in the download area. Otherwise appreciate everyons help, sorry for all the problems.
