Installing on Yahoo Sub Domain

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I have a site hosted on a Yahoo Small Business account.  I created a sub domain (forum.mydomain.com) and pointed it to a folder called forum (www.mydomain.com/forum).  When I try and install SMF using the install.php, I can't seem to resolve the path correctly to continue the install process. I have successfully installed SMF using standard install practices, but would really like to use the sub domain.  Any suggestions?

Never mind.  I figured it out.  I installed SMF via normal instruction, then created the sub domain, then changed the forum URL to the subdomain and it seems to be working fine.  If you any opinions on this, feel free to reply...
