Cool Surfer

Hi guys

How do i remove the code (Moderators: Bloc, Tippmaster) in navigation links. I have lots of moderators on my forum , so the navigation links become too long.

Simple Machines Community Forum > SMF Development > Graphics and Templates (Moderators: Bloc, Tippmaster) > Topic: Where IS the Logo Code pl

Thanks

Find and remove in Sources/MessageIndex.php -

$context['linktree'][count($context['linktree']) - 1]['extra_after'] = ' (' . (count($context['link_moderators']) == 1 ? $txt[298] : $txt[299]) . ': ' . implode(', ', $context['link_moderators']) . ')';

The same exact code should also be in Sources/Display.php that you can remove so it doesn't show up when you are viewing a topic as well.

I need moderators visible in forumindex, but  not when viewing a topic.
So i guess I need to edit only Sources/Display.php??

What do you mean by forum index? Board Index (the listing of all boards), or when inside of a particular board?

MessageIndex - is the listing of all the topics inside of a board.
Display - is the listing of the topic and all the replies made to the topic.

So if you want it just removed when inside a topic, then yes, just remove it from Display.php.
