Protecting install Info

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
When you install SMF and it asks you for your FTP and mySQL information, what file is that kept on, and how do we protect it from the other admins that have access to the server?

its stored in Settings.php and Settings_bak.php and anyone who has access to your server can view these.

so i guess you better trust who has access.
