Sources upgrade to RC2-1

Ηello guys,

I was checking my files' version right now but i saw that i have an older package of /sources/ folder. It says that the current version is 1.1RC2-1 and i have 1.1RC2. Where can i find the new files?

Expand the /sources/ file tree, and you'll see there are individual files that are out-dated.  Plus, there should be a link in the box above that list saying that you can get the updated files like "here" with a link.  Click that link and it should DL automatically for you.

if you mean the box in the top of the page, it says this:

This shows you the versions of your installation's files versus those of the latest version. If any of these files are out of date, you should download and upgrade to the latest version at www.simplemachines.org.

No, under the Packages link on the left in the "Browse Packages" tab, the "Latest Packages" box:

A security issue has been identified in SMF 1.1 RC2. You can install this patch (click here to install) to easily update yourself to the latest version.

If you have any problems applying it, you can use the version posted on the downloads page - although, any modifications you have installed will need to be uninstalled. Please post on the forum if you need more help.

Those files that have -1 on them are the ones that have been updated via the patch for 1,1 RC2,  If it's not red it's not outdated.

I get this when im trying to install the package.. is there another way to install them manually?

1.     Execute Modification     smf_1-1-RC2-1_patch.mod     Modification parse error
2.    Execute Modification    firefox_1-5_fix.xml    Modification parse error
3.    Execute Modification    -    Modification parse error

and i got this error:

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

I'm not sure, that's something a support tech would have to answer.  I've never had an issue with executing their updating mods.

Well I'll say just wait for RC3.  The issue that was solved with the package is not so big.  Or you can manually edit the files.
