How do I change the title   News:  to something else

Using 1.1rc2
Classic YaBB SE Theme

opend boardinex.template.php in the classic theme folder and look for

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

<div class="titlebg" align="center" style="padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px;">', $txt[102], '</div>

and replace the ',$text[102],' to whatever you want it to say

example:

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

<div class="titlebg" align="center" style="padding: 5px 5px 5px 5px;">Sloopz Was Here</div>


It is advised you make a back-up of the boardinex.template.php before you modify it

oops this changes the news fader not the news bar, sorry about that.

for the news bar open index.template.php and seach for

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

<b>', $txt[102], ':</b> ', $context['random_news_line'], '

Like before change ',$txt[102],' to what ever you want

example

Koodi [Valitse] Laajenna

<b>Sloopz Was Here:</b> ', $context['random_news_line'], '

to get the news faader back to normal just reverse my instructions from the first reply i gave

i think it is better to modify the lang file

index.english.php

you would search for $txt[102]='News' then you would replace the News with what ever you want
