Noob to SMF with questions

HI all

New to SMF, long time IPB user looking at other options

OK - look and feel - how does it work and can it be edited through the admin function as I can not see where.
Have installed 1.07 not 1.1RC2 - should I use RC2 or stay with 1.07?

so to RC2 or not ?

Up to you, if you don't need any the new features, you would be better holding off until 1.1 Final and then using that, it shouldnt be long in coming.
