Hi Everyone,
I've been working away on my site and I'm very happy with the way that it's coming along.  I downloaded a theme and modified it to my liking and I tried to edit the index.template.php file and when I went to save it, my server saves it as a blank file.

I was editing it in dreamweaver and I copied and pasted the new script into the edit screen on my server.  When I went to save, it became blank!  As a result, I can't get into my forum now. :'(

I even made a file with the same name in dreamweaver and uploaded it to the server.  When it got there, it was blank too.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?  I need to fix this immediately. :-[

THANKS!

No, it was a darkness theme that I had chosen to modify.  I'm at a loss at to what happened.  :(

Got any ideas?

Thanks,

I also get this error reported from the SMF install on my server when I try to access the forum as any visitor to the site would.

LainaaUnable to load the 'main_above' template.

Again, could the fact that my host set all of my files and folders to my user permission instead of the apache server have caused these issues?

It was working fine until I tried to alter the index.template.php file.  Then file just keeps going blank.  I'm not sure why that is?  :(

Any suggestions?  Thanks,
VB

It seems that I was over my limit on space on the server.  When I deleted 3 back up files, that accounted for 300+MB, the server would then allow me to save my file properly.

Thanks!
