Database error when upgrading 1.0.7 to 1.1 RC2

"Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator."

That's what it says in my main boards.
Could this be due to attachements/.htaccess ? I mean, I haven't been able to upload that file because my webhosting service (yahoo) does not support files starting with a dot.
I hope somebody can help me out.

Try uploading the sourcefiles again.
