Running test SMF board - Re-uploading convert.php for refresh?

First of all, thanks for making a great forum. I'm changing all the forums I install and administer from their current software to SMF.

My question is this - I have successfully converted a phpBB based forum to 1.1 RC2 and have been running it in test mode. When I'm ready for the new SMF forum to go live I would like to have all the data from the still operating phpBB forum. To do this, can I simply reupload the covert.php and the phpbb2_to_smf.sgl files and go through the conversion process again to capture the most recent info from the old (phpBB) board? Or will this screw something up in the database or elsewhere?

Hope I was clear enough with my question.

Thanks,
A2

You can re-run the conversion script as much as you want. Each time you run it, it will blank the data in SMF.
