Using SMF with Sendstudio

When a new person joins my forum, I'd like to go ahead and give them the option to join my mailing list too.  I'm currently using Sendstudio from Interspire.

Currently, I have to import all my new forum members into my mailing list software once per week, but I would prefer to not have to do that so I can setup Sendstudio to send out the newsletters automatically.

What are my options?  Are there any guides on how to do this sort of thing?

Really there are three ways of doing this.

1) If all your forum users are on the mailing list you could just use SMFs newsletter feature. (If only some of them are you could put these people in a secondary group and only send newsletters to this group)

2) You could modify Sendstudio to use the e-mail addresses from the SMF members table

3) You could write a bridge that added the user to the mailing list when they register.
