SMF Version: Version not known
Hi

I'm trying to upgrade from RC2 to RC3 but when I tried to upgrade, with 2nd and 4th options checked; it goes through but when it hits the indexes, it gives me this:
LainaaParse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/****/public_html/Community/Settings.php on line 30

Odd. Looks like your Setting.php got corrupted. Can you post the content of lines 27-33 (without any sensitive information ofcourse  ;) )?

$mtitle = 'Upgrading the forum...'; # Title for the Maintenance Mode message.
$mmessage = 'Don\'t worry, we will be back shortly with an updated forum.  It will only be a minute ;).';

'; # Description of why the forum is in maintenance mode.

$mbname = 'Simple WebMedia'; # The name of your forum.
$language = 'english'; # The default language file set for the forum.

Its okay now, I had to use settings_bak.php information to get my forum running again XD

The main problem would have come from the characters used in the previous message :D

Very odd. Haven't seen this behaviour before on any upgrade. Glad you got it working though.
