Smiley broke in SMF 1.1.rc2 to 1.1.rc3 upgrade!

I upgraded 3 forums all almost identical in most aspects but the last one the smileys broke.
You click on them and nothing happens. Tried IE, Opera and Firefox all the same, any idea what happen and how to fix. Other 2 forums they still work fine.

Have you checked the paths are correct and the images actually exist?

Yes path is correct and images are there. Also discovered the bbc is not working either. Clicking on the buttons for bold or quote and such no longer work either. Crazy all is fine with the other 2 forums as best as i can tell so far.

Permissions are right, everything is checked that should checked. Next idea?

FYI to anyone else who has this happen check your script.js file mine had been corrupted!
