Most people who have forums also have a web site. I think it would be a good feature to have the ability to add a tab, that when clicked, takes you back to the home site.

You already can...it's not like the files are uneditable..
The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.

Right. I understand that. I've added one myself.

if ($context['current_action'] == 'planetreload')
$current_action = 'planetreload';

// Show the [planetreload] button.
echo ($current_action=='planetreload' || $context['browser']['is_ie4']) ? '<td class="maintab_active_' . $first . '">&nbsp;</td>' : '' , '
<td valign="top" class="maintab_' , $current_action == 'planetreload' ? 'active_back' : 'back' , '">
<a href="http://planetreload.com">PlanetReload</a>
</td>' , $current_action == 'planetreload' ? '<td class="maintab_active_' . $last . '">&nbsp;</td>' : '';

My point is that 99.9999% of all people who use SMF have a webby and this should be a simple setting in Configuration/Features and Options. It should be an option so people don't have to edit the files. I mean we want to make it a Simple Machine don't we?

Oh..you mean as a default feature. (slaps forehead) that's why it was in feature requests..

Sorry. But, this could easily be done as a mod. I could maybe do something on my free time..

That would be great. I think it would help the folks that either don't understand how to edit the files or are too timid to try. I don't see why it shouldn't be a feature though. I remember way back when I used phpBB and you had to edit the dang files on that board too. It's begging to be a feature. :)
