Most people who have forums also have a web site. I think it would be a good feature to have the ability to add a tab, that when clicked, takes you back to the home site.

My point is that 99.9999% of all people who use SMF have a webby and this should be a simple setting in Configuration/Features and Options. It should be an option so people don't have to edit the files. I mean we want to make it a Simple Machine don't we?

Oh..you mean as a default feature. (slaps forehead) that's why it was in feature requests..

Sorry. But, this could easily be done as a mod. I could maybe do something on my free time..

That would be great. I think it would help the folks that either don't understand how to edit the files or are too timid to try. I don't see why it shouldn't be a feature though. I remember way back when I used phpBB and you had to edit the dang files on that board too. It's begging to be a feature.
