Smiley problems after migrating from phpbb3

Hi there, First SMF is great! If I only looked a litte longer. I have a problem after migrating to SMF.
The smileys in my topics do not show up. Well at least 90% isn't. I have searched the best I could here in the Forums without any luck. Maybe you guys can help.

I have imported the smilyes from phpbb3 successfully and the work fine for all new topic.
However most topics migrated have a link to the .gif like this: urltowebsite/smf/%7BSMILIES_PATH%7D/icon_e_biggrin.gif and its this part --> "/%7BSMILIES_PATH%7D/" thats causing the problems.
All smileys that show have a link like this: urltowebsite/smf/Smileys/default/icon_e_smile.gif

Also when I edit the topic with smiley not showing I have this within the post:
<!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt="" title="Lach" /><!-- s:) -->

what went wrong during conversion? can anyone help?

Is there nobody who can help? The only reason not to convert is because of all the smileys used in my old PHPBB forum
I know you all do this on foluntairy base but thought I gently ask anyway.

The current phpBB3 converter, which is still in beta stage, doesn't convert smileys yet, sorry.

Thanks Aäron, Then there is nothing to do for me then to wait for the converter that supports smileys. I think this topic can be closed as completed. (moderators?)

I had the same problem, this is what did to fix it, I copied my smileys from the phpbb3 directory to the smf/Smileys/default and classic directory then in the smf admin panel added each smiley to the database, you need to get the right code : and description for it to work.   Don't edit the topic! It adds a lot of extra stuff,

Thanks for the tip! I am going to give this a try first thing tomorow. I will post my findings when I am ready.
