When I asttempt to install any custom theme, and then look at a posted message within a forum, I get the following error message:
Lainaa
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: create_button() in /home/clanloc/public_html/smf/Sources/Load.php(1040) : eval()'d code on line 235

You can see the message subject, but not the actual message itself.
Any ideas as to the culprit?

Thank you.

What version of SMF are you using?   Are you installing themes that are compatible with your SMF version?  1.0.x themes do not work with 1.1RC1/2/3, and vice-versa.

I thought that might be the case. I'm new to SMF (as if you couldn't tell by the post count) and I didn't really understand that the 1.1 stuff was just a release candidate, and not an actual final build. I couldn't figure out why the board would only update to 1.08 when 1.1 was out :)
I also just assumed that the themes would be backward compatible. Not so eh?

Anyway, I guess I'll just wait till the final 1.1 comes out before tweaking the board to its final state.

Thank you.

Nope.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Trust me, it would be more hassle than it's worth to try and make one theme work with two major releases.
