Question on Screen size

I am using a 1.1 RC1 theme on 1.1 RC3 SMF and it looks like it relys on px size for the width when i would rather it just use whatever a users screen size may be as some of the users with smaller sizes might not want it as big as i have it set right now.

is there any way to set it to display the width of the screen rather than set pixel size (i have it set at 960px now)

I don't think using a 1.1 RC1 theme on 1.1 RC3 SMF is compatible!
