IPB 1.1.2 Convert - Is it available?

I haven't toyed with SM yet because I am really interested in converting my existing board from Invision Power Board 1.1.2.  Is there a download available?  I didn't see one for a version of IPB this old.

How does the security of SM compair to IPB 1.1.2?  I constantly have obscene messages posted from spammers on a relatively quiet board.

You could try the converter for IPB 1.3 as they may have similar layouts. If it fails you can post a database dump and maybe someone can come up with a modified converter for you. You will not loose any data if it fails.

As for your spamming issue. SMF 1.0 does have some problems with spammers. There is a captcha mod for the 1.0 series and built in CAPTCHA in 1.1 RC3 (there are some known bugs in this however it will be fixed in the next release, due soon).
