I used YaBB years ago and it had the ability to do basic html editing to seemlessly add board to web site.........I'm not seeing anything like that with SMF 1.08.

Am I missing it or did this feature bite the dust with convertion to SMF?

TIA

Joe
What the sinner needs to do is not accept Jesus Christ or make a decision for Christ, but to repent and cry out and ask Jesus Christ to accept him in spite of his sin.  He asks Christ if He would make a decision to forgive him.  It's not your decision for Christ, it's His decision for you that matters"~John MacArthur

Its still there, go to theme and layout settings; then modify themes. The default is off-limits to  manual modifications via SMF

I'm not seeing "modify themes" under "Themes and Layout setting"

Although I realized that I using SMF 1.07 and haven't updated as of yet.
I had a terrible time installing 1.08 and ended up using an auto installer through my web host but it is using 1.07.

Is this maybe why I'm not seeing the "modify themes" option?

Nope, the link must be different in RC3; try going to current theme and see if you get two links in the near top of the options

If its background colors that you want to modify, simply edit the style.css for the theme you're using.  It is all documented/commented to help you figure out what you're changing, and with the lastest release of SMF at least, you can see the changes realtime in a preview window as you edit it through the admin control panel.

Also, on the bottom of the page in the text boxes where it say's: members, forum stats and users on line......I haven't been able to find where I can change the color of text box.

Pls help, TIA

I think editing the style.css file is probably what would help out to. It's in the theme folder of the theme you are using, or in the default one.
