Plz hELP

SMF Version: SMF 1.0
Hi,

I have just downloaded smf1.0 and have uploaded it onto my server without any hassle. When i try to access the install page i get 'permission denied' from the server ie 'hxxp:www.utopia-chat.com/forum/install.php' [nonactive]; I have to understanding changed all the files needed to 777 that were in your help section -

Packages
Packages/installed.list
Packages/server.list
Smileys
Themes
Themes/default/languages/Install.english.php
agreement.txt
Settings.php
Settings_bak.php
install.php

But im still having the same problems. Attachments and avatars are missing from the list because i couldnt find them on the servers list. Does this mean i need to reinstall smf?? or what does anyone suggest.

Re-upload the files, and i suggest to use SMF 1.0.8 rather than 1.0
