Not sure if this is where I ask this but here it is.  I don't seem to be able to find where it is that tells me how to actually install mods into smg_rc-3? I've downloaded the Ad Mod and need to get it installed

I found this http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?board=45.0;sort=subject under "How to install Mods" but from what I could tell, it's more of how to created Mod's than how to install already created Mods downloaded from the SMF site.

Sorry for what surely is a very mundane question but I really did look and I really can't find....lol

go to your forum Admin> Packages> Download Packages

you can browse your comp for the mod you want too install.
upload and apply it, then it will do a check on the mod and ask if you want to continue with the install. :)

Thanks..........it doesn't seem to let me upload the folder........so  do I upload each file within the folder this way or maybe just upload the .zip file that downloaded?

upload the zipped mod the way i described and it should work ok.
keep smiling, they'll always wonder what your up too.....
