Installed in the wrong directory... can I move it easily?

Love this forum package. I am hosted by Lunarpages, and it's one of the packages they offer. In my excitement, I installed it right in my public_html directory (since I assumed the installation would create a new directory.... oops!), so the forum address is now http://www.mysite.com/index.php [nofollow]. Well, that's not so bad, but I'd really like to have it in a directory that is easier to manage, if you get my meaning.

Can I move it without too much trouble? Should I make a new installation and import the database, etc? Are there directions for how to do this? I don't have any mods in place yet, so it should be a cakewalk, right? ;)

Thanks for a truly remarkable forum, this is the best I have seen and I have tried MANY.

You don't have to reinstall.  Use your cPanel or FTP client to move the files to the new directory (your cPanel will probably be the best bet to move the files and folders).  After that, use repair_settings.php to fix the URLs.
