Abililty to Shut Down Forum During Certain Hours

If anyone has been on the BBC forums, this is something they do there. The forum is open until a certain hour, and then it is shut down until another certain hour. While posts can be read, they cannot be answered to until it is once again open.

You could set a cron job to disable/enable visitor posting.  It would be a matter of having a script change the database values.
