Undefined variable: icon_data

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC3
I am getting the following errors galore showing up in the error log:

Yes I do have a few mods installed: Ad Management, Users Online etc. and I am using the default theme but I do not think any mods are to be blamed here because these errors have been showing up even before I installed a single mod.

Hope someone can help resolve these.

Was this an upgrade or fresh install of RC3?

It sounds like you still need to perform an upgrade on the database, as it's probably still at version 1.0.8.
