text / images => I want both...

Im not sure where I messed up with my theme, but like here there is text for the "reply", "quote", etc, but on my theme If I have the setting set to "show images instead of text" unchecked it doesn't show the buttons like profile, yahoo, etc in their profile buttons under their avatar in posts.  how can I have those show, but keep the text for the links?
