Forbidden Error

Hello everyone,

Joomla/SMF Newbie and code  illiterate.  I have installed SMF and am using the Rockettheme template.  However when I go to Current Theme's Settings I get:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forum/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?
