Some template help needed...

Hello there!

I have been playing around and modified a theme to use on smf on my site.
I have read trough the forum to see if i find a solution,but i didnt find one yet(atleast not that i have found yet)
But i have a small problem to fix before its ready to be used.
First i have my logo,then the menu with  home, help ,search etc.
And then the info about new messages, username etc.
Between the menu and the info i have a big space i should have removed, an


The space between menu and the info needs to be removed,but im nto sure how to remove it..
Any suggestions??

Im finding it hard to figure out where the problem is coming from based off that small pic.. could you provide either a link to your forum, or a picture of the entire template?

I did some changes,but still confused would like the menubar with home,help, search etc to get closer to the logo at top?

And is it possible to change so the home button is linked to the my main page,since the forum gonna be on a subdomain?

Well,ill try to keep this post alive by myself..
Another problem i ran into.
when a user have signed up and click the activation link in the email they get to this:

Activation Complete!

Your account has been successfully activated. You can now login using the username and password you chose during the registration.

And i have no link or menu on that site.
would be happy for some help with that too.
