Saying hello

Figured after spending the last four days getting my setup of SMF I should at least say hello.

to the SMF team and mod builders - thank you very much for an excellent job on this product. I investigated quite a few board of which this one was included after a suggestion from a friend who uses it on a number of site. SMF won hands down and I definitely don'tregret hopping on the bandwagon for the ride - to the point I paid for a Charter membership.

WinExtra my home site and the WinExtra newsgroup community has been around for the better part of 7 years now and up until the recent move has been a NNTP community. I was reluctant at first about moving it all to web forums as many of our members were very resistant to the idea. However since the move the response from them has for the better part been very responsive and I chalk this success up to the quality of your product.

As a charter meber I will hopefully be able to partake in the continued growth and improvement of SMF.

I do have one request of the mod dev's as well .. I am looking for a really good quality mod - as a wordpress widget - that will allow me to have the Top 10 active threads and the Top 10 newest posts in the sidebar of the main site (http://www.winextra.com

Our community has seen members come and go over the years but has generally average around the 500 mark over time. Now it's just a matter of them getting all linked back in.
