Maximum execution time

Hello,

I have a big SMF FORUM. During the upgrade my forum, I have got this error...

" Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded "

What can I do?

As far as I know, you have your own server. Open your php.ini file, find max_execution_time and edit the value to a higher one.

But, when upgrading, the upgrade script should periodically pause and show you a progress bar. Doesn't it?

I looked that, It's (exe time) 1000 & I changed this "100000"....

Yes I saw the progress bar, I'll try once immideatly
