Unable to log in after Board upgrade to 1.1 RC3 from 1.08

Hi,

just recently installed 1.08 a couple days ago, had it all running fine, had a couple of friends sign up to go throught the motions and check everything was fine (just to get it all set up before going fully Live as it were).  It was.

read a bit about the 1.1RC3 and decdided as 1.08 was working so well, would not be a hassle as there is some really nice new things in the update, so ran the update patch, everything ran perfectly.

Board loaded fine, just hte way i left it with its new Version at the bottom of the page.

But i cannot log in.  it recognises when i put in an incorect password / username just fine saying so, but when i put in the correct combo it loads onto a white page and sits there.

i have Looked into the Mod Security thing, and it seemed to have little visual effect, and wiped cookies as well as trying my other net Browser incase Opera was going strange on me 

I did have a look about and only really saw one thread that had similar problems but was somewhat dead from what i could see, so apoligies if this has been anserwed a hundred times

can you login using the default theme?

I get the exact same thing, same page comes up and it finishes loading as before

okay after speaking with the other site admin, we are gonna just restart it as just noted we are setting up a sub-domain for it and such, and all this was done purposely before the whole thing went live... just in case somthing like this happened again heh
