feature that not allow for registering from proxy servers

I suggest to create a feature that not allow for registering from proxy servers.

What do you think guys

How would they know it is a proxy server?
Where does the proxy server list come from?
I think there was a mod that does something like this or someone was working on one.

Well you would not want to block all proxy server connections there are allot of those that are very valid connections. Now if you could block say maybe anonymous proxy servers that might be helpful.

The list of proxy servers grows and changes daily though. And these are not all of them. http://proxy.org
