upgrade Unsuccessful![SOLVED}

going from 1.0.7 to 1.0.8 i have this error:

    SELECT lmr.ID_BOARD, lmr.ID_MEMBER, lmr.logTime
    FROM smf_log_mark_read AS lmr
    LEFT JOIN smf_log_boards AS lb ON (lb.ID_BOARD = lmr.ID_BOARD AND lb.ID_MEMBER = lmr.ID_MEMBER)
    WHERE lb.logTime < lmr.logTime;

Caused the error:

    Unknown column 'lmr.logTime' in 'field list'

the forum was previously a phpbb that was converted with no problems.

Well I would say go to the table which its asking for, and add logTime as part of the structure

well i added that field, plus 2 or 3 more as i went through the upgrade. no one can register, it creates a database error. can't login at all. heres the url, any thoughts are appreciated.

I'd recommend re-uploading the upgrade files, then if possible see about running upgrade.php

Which one are you trying to upgrade to? 1.0.8 or RC3 ?

I just managed to log in with a test account. All sorted now by updating to RC3?

i went into this not knowing what was what. as it turned out, they had a rc2 database with 1.0.8 files. as soon as i discovered that, it was smooth sailing. thanks.

I just discovered the archives and installed Rc2 and it did the trick, my form is up and running again.

No. 1.0.8 should come before 1.1RC3

Which database version do you have installed now?
You can check by browsing in phpmyadmin to the smf_settings table and look for the field called "smfVersion"

Forgive my ignorance but I can't find the smf_settings table from the admin page. I went ahead and upgraded to Rc3 and everything is now working fine. Is there any reason I should worry about installing 1.0.8?

Once you upgrade to 1.1, you can't go back
