Using Fantastico to Install SMF

I'm usig Fantastico to install SMF and ran into the base configuration part that has me wondering.

Base configuration
Site name    
Admin full name    
Admin e-mail (your email address)    
Preferred Language    

What happens with the information I add as the site name?  Is this purely administrative in function or am I labeling the forum with a name that will be seen by members?  Thanks.

your labeling the forum, but you can change that in the Admin> Server Settings>

The site name is the name your forum well be called in all emails, registration screens etc...

You are able to freely change it in Admin > Server Settings > Forum Title

But Fantastico doesnt CHMOD files to 777, so you'd have to do that in the FTP yourself to be able change the title.
