"image cannot be shown because it contains errors"

i have joomla 1.0.10+bridge 1.1.6+smf 1.1rc3. problem is when i click image attached to a message, it opens to new window and says image cannot be shown because it contains errors. but if i right click the attached image and select open in new window it shows right. the difference is in the created url

is the working one and

http://sameaddres.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=34&?action=dlattach;topic=24.0;attach=5;image

doesnt work. how to make the image show right with simple leftclick?

attach=6 is the real image and attach=5 is the thumbnail that shows in the message it was attached to.
