Post new poll break SMF out of portal.

Hi all, have searched and could not find anythiing related so posting it in hope to find a solution.

Details
Joomla 1.0.11 Stable
SMF 1.1 RC3
Joomla<>SMF Bridge 1.1.6

Portal: XXX
SMF: XXX
Customised: Theme for SMF
Test account: XXX

Everything seems ok till i test posting a poll within SMF.
Once i post a poll, the SMF will "break off" from the portal and throw me direct to the SMF itself.
So far as the testing goes, i left only this issue to rectify before launching the site soon.

What i have did so far
1. Unpublished Joomla's own Poll
2. Force default theme to be the customized theme within SMF
3. Setting from Bridge is "Wrapped" mode with "Use SMF CSS in other pages?" as Yes

Please help to advise on ways to get this issue retify as my local community is waiting for me to launch the site soon.

Updates!
Now i have tested again, situation is worse than i have thought.
Even a new post will break SMF out of Joomla!

Turn off SEF in SMF.  If you wish to use SEF, turn it on in Joomla, not in SMF.
