why my SMF new member no need to activate?

while user register a new member, they direct can post topic without any activation, that mean user can simply type any invalid mail. how to make it only valid mail (hv to actiavate) can post topic?

Admin -> Registration -> Settings -> Method of registration employed for new members (drop down menu).
