Okay to refresh page when conversion "hangs?"

I'm converting from phpBB 2.0.20. The db size is around 155MB.

I notice that page sometimes stops when I am already at the stage of converting messages (URL/phpbb2_to_smf.php?step=8&start=150500). But it resumes whenever I refresh the page, and continues normally for a couple of more pages, wherein I need to refresh the page again.

Should I not reload the page? Would this give me errors in the future?

This a known bug, please try changing step 8 to step 9
