Help Please

Hi all, Im new here and this question has probably been asked many times before....but here goes.

I need to create a table............can someone please help me, how does it work.

Here is an example of why I need table:

In the toolbar there are 3 buttons with grids on them

Highlight all your data then click the first grid, that'll put table tabgs round the whole thing

then highlight just the data in one row click the second grid that'll put row tags round the data, do that for all the other rows

then highlight the data in the rows, so on the first line for example you highlight JONES, William then click the third grid, that puts cell tags round it. Do the same for 28 and M. and miner and so on.
