Garage Mod

I was looking around to see if there was a mod that would add a garage to each user allowing them to add a vehicle and its modifications to it.  i have one now for my phpBB board, but have not seen anything like it for SMF.  This is an absolute must for my site prior to migrating.  the one i am using also has a bunch of extras like insurance reviews, shops reviews, guestbooks, comments, timeslips.

No ideas when it will be done though. This is something I would like to add to my sites as well, so your not the only one looking for a solution.

haha, i already gave up looking and have just began planning my own mod for this.  maybe they will beat me to it, if not i think i am still going to be writing one in the near future.

Umm actually this one is on my todo list also.  I just don't know when I'll do it.  Also that version is paid.  If I end up doing it it would be free.

No ideas when it will be done though. This is something I would like to add to my sites as well, so your not the only one looking for a solution.

My company owns the development contract to the SMF port of that (TrapZero SO).  Unfortunately, our internal developers that have committed to doing it in the past are no longer with us.  To that end, I'm willing to discuss options for moving forward with it in a more open manner, if anyone has any ideas.  That being said, I can't simply open it up as OSS/FOSS, since the original version isn't ours.

I'd need to work out some type of arrangement with some developers... I have none of my own available to do it.

What actually needs to be done?  Like does the code need to be modified to reference something else?  Or does it need to be rewritten?  Because if it's more of referencing things, I can help do that.  But I won't be able to rewrite things, only because I don't know how too.  But I'm in for this if you need some hands!  Be good chance to learn PHP properly too!

We'd need some serious developers... I haven't even bothered looking at it in a while, and my 2 dev's that were on it a while ago are gone now.

Basically everything has to be converted from the IPB template and db systems, to the SMF ones.  It's a decent sized job.
