I have RC3 bridged with the latest orstio bridge with Joomla 1.0.11
I also have the forum wrapped and a custom template installed.

I tested it with unwrapped mode and the default template but still i have the same problem.
another problem is that when i open the messages through that box, i press the first pm link but the window doesnt scroll down to the specified message.

BadCluster

Orstio is there any bug known about double pop up boxes for new messages?
I mean i get a new message and instead of one new message pop up box i get two.
Also when i go to read them i select the most recent but the page doesnt scroll down in order to see the details of the pm, it just refreshes and stays at the same position.

Orstio

There was with bridge 1.1.5, but that should have been solved in 1.1.6.

hmmm, ok i m gonna install this one more time and get back again

is there a wsy to keep my brdige menus unharmed in this update?
I have made some menus in Joomla for the bridged forum, where i have one submenu for each category of the forum.
If i delete the module/component/bot then i think i ll loose all this work.
Is there a way to save it?

Orstio

What bridge are you currently using?

http://www.kitespot.gr

its bilingual so u can read the english interface,

i have an account for u if u like

edit:

i have two smf forums with Joomla and both of them have the same flaw...

Orstio

There is definitely a problem with that theme.  Can you post the contents of your index.template.php?

BadCluster

yes of course,
i also want to add that i did a new install with default theme and had the same probs,
the problems only disappeared if i used the forum directly for http://www.kitespot.gr/forum

that means unwrapped

BadCluster

i can also upload ssi.php if u like

BadCluster

ok i m going to sleep as its almost 4 am here.
I just hope to see this solved as i have to give a portal(free of charge of course) for my open university, and i have the same problem there as well

Orstio

Quotei can also upload ssi.php if u like

Why?  Did you make a change to it?

I've attached an index.template.php that should work better, at least as far as your problem is concerned.

BadCluster

i didnt change it, the smf packages i ve installed did...

gonna try that index u attached

Orstio

What SMF packages have you installed?

see attached image

your index gives errors

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in .../Themes/rt_smf_fire/index.template.php on line 413

and if i delete that extra "{" i cant an other errors

like

Notice: Undefined index: allow_memberlist in /home/xxxxx/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php(1702) : eval()'d code on line 518

Orstio

None of those should cause any problems.

BadCluster

i added some more info on my last post

BadCluster

i have to leave, my eys r closing.
Thank u very much for ur interest...
i just hope this get solved

Orstio

Yeah, there seems to be a lot more wrong with the theme than just a few conditional formatting elements.

I would suggest you start using themes from here.
