Currently the SMF database error system sends out a simple error message when an error occurs with my database

QuoteThere has been a problem with the database!

This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.

The feature I'd like to request is to have (optional?) SMF send the exact error message recieved from MySQL/generated by PHP to the email address. This would make it easier to hosts and admins to track down problems, as how it is right now, I don't know if I should contact my host or if I can fix it myself.

This also happens on self hosted forums (such as testing forums), and as such, as the host, I don't know whats wrong with my system.

Thanks
