YaBB 2.1 to SMF... how do I use that converter?

Hey all.
I downloaded converter from YaBB 2.1 to SMF.
I have convert.php and yabb21_to_smf.php

Where do I put them, and how do I runt them?

Get the yabb21_to_smf.php converter from here.  Then upload both files to your smf install and point your browser to http://yoursite.com/forum/convert.php.

This query:

    ALTER TABLE `ryphtnet_websitedata1`.smf_members
    DROP PRIMARY KEY,
    CHANGE COLUMN ID_MEMBER ID_MEMBER mediumint( unsigned NOT NULL default 0;

Caused the error:

    Can't DROP 'PRIMARY'; check that column/key exists

I got the one from main download page.. I didn't find the link on your post.

Oh.. also.. Does my new SMF forum have to use same database as YaBB2.1? or it can use different database??

Need to do a fresh install of SMF.

cool. now every thing worked..

Ok.. now I have my original forums at www.mysite.com/forums

and new forum (SMF) at www.mysite.com/rypht

how do I make so that new forum will be at www.mysite.com/forums (I will move the old files of other forum)..

Rename the rypht dir to forums and use repair_settings.php to fix the paths.
What is repair_settings.php?

ok.. every thing seem to be working. but "users online" don't show right info correctly...

It works fine now...

But post count not work properly now. For example... When I post or some one else do post.. It doesn't know any thing in post count.

There some new users today.. and they have posted at list 2 times.. but their post count is still 0...

is there some set up in admin panel or forum doing some thing wrong?

Try doing a recount of stats.  Also please don't bump a topic in less than 24 hours.

yes... It found like 50 and it fixed them.
