Integrate Links Directory Software

Hi,

I'm new to this, so could someone possibly explain how I can put a link in the menu of my forum (the gif links across the top) which opens a new program in the bodyarea.

I use a php based links directory script called eSyndiCat Directory Software (hxxp:www.esyndicat.com [nonactive]) which has a lot of features that aren't available in the current SMF links mod, and I'd therefore like to integrate the eSyndicate directory into my SMF site, or at least make it look like it is part of the same site .
Although it'd be nice, I'm not bothered about shared admin etc, just want the program to open in the forum.
